Innkeeping is a second career for John and Donna.  Donna often tells guests that she was a nurse in her former life and a story teller in her other life.  John is a retired chemist and aerospace salesman. The couple's two children and nine grand children live nearby and all frequently pitch in to help with the Inns.  John will tell you that the best part of innkeeping is the guests that we meet.

Policies

We are a nonsmoking inn. Although we have 2 historic homes, none of the rooms are old enough to smoke. Smoking is permitted outside on porches and patios.

Children are welcome

Pets may be welcome on an individual basis and based on availability.

Reservation Policies:  Credit card and $25.00 required to confirm a reservation.

Cancellations made less than 2 days before a week day (Sun- Thurs) will be charged the $25.00 deposit. Cancellations made less than 1 week before a weekend, holiday, holiday eve, for a multi-night or multi-room reservation will be charged for 1 full day of the reservation. We realize that situations arise that require a change or late cancellation of a reservation. Of course we sympathize, but because of the adverse effect such cancellations have on our small business we must adhere to our cancellation policies. We consider early departure a cancellation.

We offer discounts for parents of UNT &TWU university students and active duty military personnel.
